Initially the large numbers injured made me think this was a pretty indiscriminate attack. Doubtless some innocents were injured but I've seen no huge outcry so it now seems to me that with the intelligence gathered by Mossad there were a lot of pagers all held by the Hezbollah terrorists and death or injury is more down to where the pager was being carried as these were not big explosions.

Now all those with these pagers knows they are known to Mosssad and so marked men. I imagine Immodium will be in short supply in Lebanon right now.

Good point.  Not only has this 'attack' removed or disabled many of the terrorist soldiers, they and their leaders must now be fully aware that they are known to Mossad.

Israel should now repeat the exercise in Gaza...
and even better in the real root of all of this - Iran.

I'd like to now how the Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon was in possession of a Hezbollah pager  :hmm:

So, it fell off the back of a lorry, eh?

I see that the IDF 'eliminated' another two Hezbollah commanders in the Lebanon in the last 24 hours.
The Lebanese are not happy bunny's, but maybe someone on here can explain why a country allows a banned terrorist organisation to base themselves in their country?

Presumably they support them, just as so many other muslim countries do.
Israel is surrounded by enemies, some more anti-Jew than others.  Fortunately, some like Egypt and Jordan seem to be less-arrogant but nevertheless the Israelis must remain very vigilant.
It's a shame that Israel, being created as the Jews' homeland, was in that particular position in the world.  But, of course, that land was their ancient homeland.

When I was young the Lebanon was one of the richest countries in the Near East. However, in the meantime times and conditions have changed. As to Israel, as far as I know the English and French "created" this state much to the chagrin of the Palestinians who lived there. Someone once told me that the emnity between the Palestinians and the Israelites has its roots in the Bible - I don't know whether this is correct or not. When I was in Israel in 2011 the guide told us that the only solution would be two  independent countries.
