A thousand Hezbollah activists/members have been injured in Lebanon, some seriously.   The pagers all exploded simultaneously, one can only imagine the injuries to those carrying them in their back pocket.

Hmmm. Pagers are used as the triggers for IEDs. I wonder if this bunch were making bombs and somehow the IDF got hold of all the numbers and gave them a wakeup call.

The only alternative would be a bunch of fake pagers which were somehow handed out to Hezbollah members and that seems pretty far fetched.

The pagers that detonated were the latest model brought in by Hezbollah in recent months, three security sources said.

So it seems it was a "special" batch that Hezbollah were sold/given that more than just bomb makers had. Damned clever,

Far-fetched, perhaps, but if the IDF managed to pull such a thing over on the terrorists, good for them!

Absolutely.  Terrorists should receive all they dish out, and more.
They should make a film about this.

(Looking at readers' comments in the Express, there were one or two people's comments deriding the Israelis for such 'cowardly' behaviour.  English names, but seemingly anti-Jewish opinions.)

I am loving the traffic on the internet about this, how bloody embarrassing for Hezbollah 

I mean you enemy has access to pagers, you preferred communication device fills them with explosives..sells them through an intermediary to you making a nice little profit no doubt..they then ping your pager and you read the message which reads, " Your 72 Virgins are now ready"
Then the damn thing blows up in your face. 😂

I think this is just a prelude to something big, I mean if I wanted to attack a country harbouring my enemy I would first of try and knock out their communications, knocking out all the commanders at the same time is a bonus. Definitely worth a Blue Peter Badge
