Black adverts

Nearly every advert now on TV has a black actor in it. But I haven't yet seen
any obvious looking Muslims in one.
No doubt the Muslim Council of GB will soon be putting this right.

Adverts? Bugger them..It may be ads but how about every single play, tv drama, film and sit-com we see??

I recall some years ago now, that in a Midsomer Murder, in a small village a black man was there.  So ridiculous

As a white, heterosexual woman I'm under represented on TV adverts and some programmes.  Now what happened to the racial discrimination act ? or doesn't that apply if you're white ?

Alex I am surprised at you, fancy not knowing that only white people are racist!!! and we are the immigrants as the black folk have always been here, back in the 1500's, Ann Boleyn was black why would the TV lie to you????????

We were discussing this on the mother ship in 2018 as I recall, but it's now national news because a politician said she didn't like it very much, in answer to a listener phoning in to a talk radio programme.

Sadly yes, and much missed. Zoony was one of the originals here who moved over from the other place.   I liked his take on a lot of things.  He was a retired mental health nurse who did his training near where I live.
