Or could you? Hawish Kebatu, an Ethiopian illegal who came on a small boat, was imprisoned for sexually attacking a 14 year old girl. Somehow the prison service have accidentally released him and he is on the run!

Don't be silly.

It's one hell of a nice name he's got.  Pity it's wasted on him.

Hopefully he'll come to an unpleasant end and save us all the cost of keeping him in prison and subsequently funding his legal fees after he claims his human rights, as he has married several pre-teens who love, need and rely on him.

Thinking about that, it prompts me to suggest that if our penal system happily lets such criminals escape so easily, perhaps our own people should do their job for them, preferably in cases like this, 'illegal capital punishment'!
If the system fails to protect us, we must protect ourselves.

Now I wonder at what point the prison noticed this "error", and why it was allowed to happen at all and not spotted until the man was miles away. No doubt,

lessons will be learned

He was picked up on CCTV
 footage in a library ..
  Probably reading The Great Escape..

But not to worry.. London has many CCTV cameras ..
It is one of the most heavily surveilled cities and often ranks as the most surveilled city outside of Asia..
That is comforting to know..  We are all safe...
