My Christmas tree is in a spare bedroom.. fully decorated... Wrapped in brown paper..

Good idea Scrumps and GM to keep it decorated, a friend used to cover hers with a sheet and keep it in the cellar. I binned the large tree I had and bought a small one that sits on a table, HAVE to have a tree 🎄

p.s. I now have a door, it's definitely improved my mood

I don't shut any apart from the loo door in my house. All the rest just pushed to or open. I had to edit this. I think I must have been half asleep when I typed the initial post.

Yes, my loo door is usually shut too.

I have to close my bedroom door during the day though, as I have two little hairy monsters who would be in my bed before I could blink.
I leave it ajar when I am in bed though, as I don't like being shut in.

The thought of Christmas is so depressing it would make anyone feel down .
I really hate it and all the new year thing.
It's just another year passing .
And this year has not been a good one .

I'm not a big fan of Christmas either, Usually we have my lot up here for a week but if we're on our own and the weather is okay we would go off with the Clydes on a hill hike for a few hours. Then home as it starts to get dark, spend the evening watching recorded catch up on the telly.
But that won't be happening this year, I'll still be in recovery after the op, I'm a very slow healer and clambering up on a Clydes back will be a big No No for some time to come.
