I suppose Charles had to be seen to do something,  with half the population baying for blood.
I feel a bit sorry for Charles in a way,  because now he has  probably alienated both his brother as well as his ginger-haired  son,  so possibly two sets of grandchildren he now won't see much of in future.
Can't be a lot of fun, can it.

It's a sad fact Mups that many people are estranged from their children and grandchildren .

And he has three grandchildren here .

This makes me wonder what has happened to Andrew.
During the Falklands war, he participated in flying a rescue helicopter.  Though not participating in direct fighting, of course, he did effectively put himself in potential danger.
Since then, he made sexual advances to a 15 year-old girl which, of course, is illegal.  Why on earth did he do that?  I'm sure there were plenty of older girls around.
Well, rather belatedly, he has been taken to task and has suffered the consequences.  Why wasn't this done earlier, I wonder?
