Have I been sleeping 💤?

Since when was the expression "born and bred" deemed to be racist or anti asylum seekers 🤷🏻♂️

Crap like that may even see a modest rise in Reform support north of the border.

The world has gone mad...

'Home grown' will be the next to go..
'Nothing added'... will follow.....
'Contains no foreign bodies'.... and so it goes on...
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Course, the most famous line of all goes to Brer Rabbit ~ "I was born and bred in a briar patch!"
Much to the fury of Brer Fox! 🦊

So, the powers that be have now decided that the commonly-used phrase 'born and bred' is now racist.

I can foresee government publications being sent to every household in the land, listing any words or phrases that might be considered offensive by certain non-white (end even some white) people.  They'll probably also include a list of appropriate prison sentences for each specific word or phrase.

Of course, as long as it's in Manchester.

I was born and bred in Middlesex.

I'm glad it's not just me that finds this weird.

Who exactly is/are "the powers that be "
Must be a minority, so why are we the majority letting it happen  ?

But how do we stop it, Alex?    More getting ourselves arrested at yet more protests?

I read a couple of days ago in the paper that we can be in big trouble for calling a work mate 'a nutter' now.
That is discrimation too!!
I could think of a lot worse names to call some people!

Our England will never be the how it was, again.    Things are going to plan . . .

We let it happen by voting for idiots to run our country..

We fear the consequences... We are, on the whole, a polite race.. We stand in queues.. We allow the elderly to go before us.. we open doors for others..
So, when we are TOLD not to say this or do that we comply..
We moan (quietly) with others... we never say it aloud..
Except the likes of Tommy Robinson..
There are many, behind closed doors, who secretly admire his courage when speaking up..
.. and I think the (many) will increase given time..

Rylan Clarke .. TV presenter , spoke out against illegal immigrants..
He may have lost his job.. I am not sure..
However .. he is very popular.. and the public stuck up for him.. Many saying that Rylan was voicing what many are thinking..
He has a following..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

i'm afraid that is only to be expected.  After all, we are now living in a police state, though led by people who have absolutely no idea how to run the country.
It is the done thing, now, to be arrested for saying 'the wrong sort of thing', and sentenced to a number of years imprisonment, depending upon the level of hurt feelings of those who have been affronted.
Fortunately, it is quite a simple matter to avoid any such punishment by carrying the 'correct' design of flags, preferably comprising the colours black, white, green and a little bit of red.
