😊
Thanks for the thought.  To be honest, I didn't think anyone here would be interested in this local choir, but Marge asked me if I'd post it.  I shall tell her that I have had some interest.  Thanks.

No problem.  I might have a doodle down there some time for a lunchtime recital.  There's a couple of piano recitals coming up too...the engineering friends I have a drink with a few times a year haven't ever been to one, so I might treat them to the one with Beethoven's last concertos in the program.

Thank you.  In fact, thank you both.  I shall let Marge know.  I am sure she will be very grateful.

Thank you both again.  I am pleased to say that her crowdfunder is being very successful thanks to you and many other very helpful contributors.  She and the choir are very grateful.

Have booked that recital on 4th Dec, JB.

My two friends and I are looking forward to it.  Neither of them have been to a recital before, so I've naturally suggested that they get onto YouTube and listen to the pieces a few times (played by different performers) so they have an idea of what to expect.

That's great, Dex.
However, having checked with Marge, it's actually on the 14th December, at 1430!
I might be going as well.

Different recital,  but I might take my wife to the one Marge is involved in too.  Might wear a handkerchief on my head so you can recognise me.

If I do go, I shall wear a pair of my underpants on my head, so you can notice me.  Everyone else will.

JB, I mentioned us attending Marge's choir thingy and she was up for it until she realised that it clashed with her own church's carol service.  So, can't make this one.  Maybe next year?

No problem.  I'd rather not go myself now, because I have decided not to drive now (although I still have a licence) because I'm so out of practice and beginning to lose my marbles.  Actually, I think one rolled under the settee the other day.  It would either be a couple or more bus rides or, worse, an expensive taxi ride.

Park and ride (tram) from Parrswood to Victoria?  Saves faffing around trying to park in town.
