I'm doing unusually well today with these quips.  Think I might retire and get an early night to recover!

If I may dare to bring this thread back to topic while you lot reload your weapons, it would appear that Sir "Quick on the Uptake" Starmer has realised that Labour may not have been as on the ball as they perhaps ought to have been...

Starmer always looks as if he's about to cry..
I can not imagine him giggling...
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

In fairness, most of the UK do cry when they see him and reflect on just what they did by voting him in.

Scrumpy

Let them cry... They have made their own misery..
Perhaps next time..perhaps.. we will get something decent running the country.. Someone who cares about the residents of this country and not those who gate crash ..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Tick tock... tick tock... The clock is ticking.. For Starmer...

I want to keep this thread alive ... Just to see if he is on the way out come Christmas..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Maybe I should have added the digital id petition story to this rather than as a new thread.

He is desperately hunting something to make him popular and thought his BS about digital ids stopping the boats might do the trick. 1.6 million signatures in a day telling him to FRO with that one shows that once again he really has no clue.

Sadiq Khan won't be challenging Starmer after all, he intends to run for a 4th term as London Mayor

If he resigned he'd be popular.

Digital ID..!!  What a laugh..
If there are kids out there that can bring big companies to their knees by cyber attack..
and hack accounts.. Surely they can knock out a few thousand ID cards for the right price..

Starmer is a fool if he thinks this will control illegals living here..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

I'm beginning to worry about this now.  Naturally, we all want rid of TwoTier, but if and when he goes, who will replace him?
No, I have no idea who, but it worries me that it might be someone, perhaps an unknown, who might just prove to be able to talk sense.  I don't know for sure that there actually is anyone like that in Labour, but if such an unusual person should emerge, who knows, it might just persuade some normally sensible people to vote for Labour?

Fear not!  This fella might be out on parole soon and, providing he can sail a dinghy over to the UK without actually sinking it, might be able to wangle a UK passport and be elected to the Titanic Labour Party and take over as PM.

By pure coincidence, after my last post I happened to pick up the history book I'm reading, which is currently about Richard II.  I quote...

"The Appellants took control, imposing a commission on the king at the so-called Wonderful Parliament of 1386. Richard found this humiliating and initially refused to attend parliament at all, railing against his disobedient subjects and, according to some reports, threatening to seek help from his cousin the King of France."

Hmmm, just feels weirdly allegorical of what's happening/ might soon happen nowadays🤷🏻♂️
