I have a Benelli semi auto in my collection. Not the anti riot version obviously. Being inertia operated they don't get filthy inside like gas operated semis. Naturally I have one of those too   I like both apart from littering the place up with cases that I collect with that pick up stick although not everybody does.

Dear Intelligence personnel who may be monitoring this site and in particular this thread, I wish to entirely disassociate myself with the alarming curiosity and discussion of fire arms.

Although I would be delighted if Sir Starmer took a running jump into oblivion, I do not endorse the use of violent means to enable an equivalent outcome.

They don't need to monitor this or any other web site to know who has fire arms or shotgun certificates - the police issue them.

I've got a gun..  It shoots soft bullets..  We shoot at targets that are hanging up..
We love it.. The targets for next time we play are a pic of  Donald Trump and some Disney characters .. They dangle from a string line ... They must only shoot Trump..
Sounds easy but they are dangling which makes it more difficult....

Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Dear CIA/FBI agents,

I refer you to my post above and extend my disassociation from those who fantasise about shooting your president.

Sounds like fun.
However, surely the best target would be a life-sized version of TwoTierKeir.

Do you get a lot of recoil because of the intertia operation ?

klondike

Not noticeably so with clay loads. The internal spring made it feel a bit boingy at first but you soon get used to that.

I believe they are popular with game keepers as they are so reliable without much maintenance being needed and can just be chucked in the back of pickups. Mine has a synthetic stock rather than walnut but I do look after it.

I do love the need to make sure one doesn't get hurt whilst trying to kill something.

😀 I do prefer wood, warmer in the hands and on the cheek but a scratch magnet and more expensive now I gather.

If you are reasonably careful a wooden stock won't get damaged. Synthetics can take a bit of neglect but only a bit. I like a nice wood stock on double barrel guns but don't think they look right on semi autos somehow.

True, semi autos with synthetic are the dogs bollocks..I could rattle on abour Franchi combat shotguns and Mossbergs but it might get a bit erotic...one day when I am rich...😀
