Ta klondike. Just a pity I messed up Extreme - on 64 points.  I do winder how that's scored sometimes. 🧐

If you complete words early on its a bigger score so it must be based on words and/or spaces left to complete after each guess.

Obviously the problem with completing a guessed word before exhausting all the possible letters is that you'll lose a turn for probably only one and possibly no letters to help with the rest if you miss. I do take a flyer in the standard game sometimes to reduce the score but in Extreme if I miss it rules out using all 4 of my standard words and another miss means game over. If I use my standard 4 words I have to get every guess after that right but they have used the 19 most commonly used letters which makes things a lost easier. It's often anagrams that mess me up.
