I'm afraid that I'm beginning to lose interest in this cross-channel invasion.  I suppose that even the most serious ongoing attack on our country eventually becomes so routine and apparently unavoidable that complaining about it achieves nothing.

I do, however, occasionally think about the problem but it's like staring at a blank wall that you can do nothing about.  Yes, I shall certainly vote for Reform in four years' time, but I wonder now whether by then the country will be lost.  As we have no children, and we are both beyond retirement age, I suppose that we've had our time and are likely to survive in this sinking country until our time is over.

On the other hand, I feel sorry for our young people who will, before long, begin to realise that they really have a big problem on their plates.  Many of them though, according to the news, are not making much of an effort to prepare for their adult lives.  Should it become advisable to emigrate to seek a better life, they are likely to find themselves unattractive to foreign employers.

Something could be done about it, but NOT by this government:

1.  Stop all handouts, free housing, free healthcare, etc., for anyone here illegally.
2.  Create prison camps (as in the war) to contain them.  Minimal food, etc.  There they remain until they admit to who they are and where they're from.
3.  If and when they admit to this, give them a free passage back home, 3rd class of course.
4.  If they refuse to provide requested details, they stay in the camps.  Much cheaper than hotels!

You are not stupid.  It's the government, civil service, and some of the judiciary who are stupid, and undoubtedly anti-British people.
I agree with all of the above, except for cheap hotels.  Prison camps are more appropriate, and they were not considered 'inappropriate' during the war which, I might add, is what is coming to this country when there is a sufficient number of our invaders.

I was including that to my list of things we shouldn't be doing for them..
