I wouldn't like to be in a card game with those two...

POWER and WEALTH... Will win every game..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Alex

They've started to empty the swamp though !

Maybe there is only friendship on the surface, though.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if one day in the future,  they each try to 'stab' each other to win - not literally of course!

They are both extremely competitive, and wealthy people, who like to win.

Musk wasn't American born so can never be president or vice president.

Ruthio

Did anyone watch the TV documentary about him last night on Channel 4?
I'm going to watch it later this evening

Oh,  I see.

I still think both of them are only in it for themselves though.

Trump certainly seems to have been coming up with some nutty ideas recently. Anybody know if he has actually invaded Canada, Greenland, Panama and Gaza yet?

I used to think he was sane if a bit eccentric but I'm afraid I could have been wrong on the sanity.

Musk doesn't actually need anything more as he is already the richest man in the world but you don't get to be the richest man in the world without being a bit wealth oriented. I imagine he's on a huge ego trip right now.

Always remember Musk has been an identified Aspergers Syndrome (autism) candidate since the age of ten and his idiosyncratic behaviour is typical therein.

I am half way through it .
Musk is an extraordinary  man and so in his way is Trump .
I wonder how it will pan out .
Can't be worse than the last lot .

Sir Isaac Newton is thought to have suffered from Aspergers. It certainly doesn't preclude being a genius which I imagine Musk must be to have achieved what he has.

Aspergers or not, I really don't care.
The one thing I admire about Trump is that he, despite his critics, will fight to defend his country.  He is now actively removing any people, apparently largely Mexicans, who have entered America illegally.  If only we had a PM like him.  At present, I see only one man who could and would do the same: Nigel Farage.
Unfortunately, it sounds like he too has many detractors.  I sincerely hope that enough people see sense in 2029 (or hopefully earlier) to ensure he becomes our next leader.

If he (Nigel) enters into a coalition with what are now called Tories, Reform must be in the ascendency otherwise unless their 'Lib-Dem' members are negated, they will just block everything including leaving both the ECHR and the ICC. The Tories need deruncinating. The exponential Islamic vote should achieve two important events for 'democracy' viz;

Firstly) Deny Labour many of their seats, not only such as Rayner's, Mrs Balls, and Streetings, but 67 where they were only just ahead of reform in 2nd place last time.

Secondly) Drive former patriotic socialist in the 'Red Wall' votes to Reform as extreme left wing idealism yields as a value factor to the fear of Islamism.

I'm afraid I'm a little confused as to what might happen in four years or so (or possibly earlier).
Quite apart from what each competing political party would do, and with whom they would ally themselves, it is more than possible that decisions will be changed as the years go by.  Although Reform is presently increasing their public support, people have an annoying habit of changing their minds!

Anything could happen, and it is just possible that I might change my intention of where my vote will go.  Right now, it is for Reform without any doubt, but who knows?
