Sex change patients

An article in today's paper says that hundred of patients are being admitted into hospitals as women,  despite having problems only suffered by men.  e.g. Prostate, testicle, and penis issues.

A GP is reported as saying - "There is pressure on staff not to offend patients,  but the fact they are recorded as women in the statistics is ridiculous."

A Tory MP is also quoted as saying - "You cannot change biology."

That will show just how unreliable 'statistics'  will be in the future.

I agree, Scrumps.  :upvote:

I wonder if  trans people have to go into a Male or Female ward in hospital?
Must be very strange for the doctors to discover patients with boobs and a willy as well?

This is becoming ridiculous.  Pretending to be the opposite gender can result in misdiagnoses and possibly even sexual attacks.
One solution would be to take a routine blood sample and determine whether he/she is XX or XY.
We can then join in their pretence if it makes them happy, but have the correct information for the serious matters of treatment and location (with same gender patients whatever they think they are).

No need for any tests at all in the vast majority of cases. All it takes is a casual glance.

Yup. They usually look just like men in drag, only less glamorous!

No matter how hard they try they do NOT have the feminine way about them..

We have a local shop in Cheadle, which I must not name of course, where the 'woman' on the counter is obviously a man in drag.  He has men's hands and even the beginnings of a beard, but dresses and tries to behave and speak like a woman.  He is clearly not a woman even to a blind man.
Actually, to be honest, I feel rather sad for him.

How many size 12 high heels shoes in your charity shop Mac?

In the days we had charity shops nearby (all three covid casualties) I used to be gobsmacked how many I saw.

Men dressed as women do over exaggerate their body movements when trying to be female..
They talk with their hands and seem to be very exited about most things..

However.. The men I have met over the years who are more feminine then masculine are usually gentle people.. and kind..
We had a gay couple living in the village years back.. I used to chat to the (feminine) one when meeting in the street.. Lovely guy.. he used to talk about how I looked..
The neighbours were so nasty they had to leave the area..  Ignorant people..

I agree with you again, Scrumpy.   They seem to exaggerate everything,  especially their make-up.
I don't know one single woman who makes up like a pantomime dame.

I do know one gay chap though, and he is the only one I have ever seen that looks like a normal man.
He has a responsible job so dresses like a man, talks normally,  and  is a kind, helpful chap.
He is nothing like these extroverts we see so much of on the telly.

I've noticed Charity shops seem to attract trans people , no idea why that is of course.

I recall that there was one in Kings Lynn. Nothing subtle about him at all and no need to look twice.

Not something I've noticed to be honest.  We had one volunteer who was obviously male, who'd had augmentation to her upper regions and liked low cut tops. A difficult person is putting it mildly, they didn't stay long.

We must have some very big footed women around here then....
