At the end of the day,  no matter how  they act,  dress,  and apply their make-up,   as soon as they open their mouth and a man's voice comes out,  it's a bit of a give-away don't you think?

Thinking about that a bit more,  I wonder if women changing into males  still retain a woman's voice?

There are plenty worried about what else might slip out....

Transgenderism is nothing new.

I do think this is a mental issue

I am sure it is.

There are very rare examples of babies being born with indeterminate sex organs, or possibly both, and it is obviously important to correct this.  The problem is trying to determine which is the correct way to go.  I think that a test of chromosomes (XX or XY) present might determine the best course.

You can get Hermaphrodites in new born animals,  so maybe the same applies to human babies as well.

I think trans people should have to undergo medical tests to obtain proof their condition is genuine though, rather than just  take themselves off into womens toilets, women's hospital wards, women's prisons  etc.

Wasn't there a case fairly recently of a man in a woman's prison who raped a female prison officer?

Of course.  This country, or its leaders and laws, are intentionally soft on people, whether criminals or those who claim to be something which they are not.

I have nothing against people's right to believe and say things which are not correct, but when they take advantage of those rights to others' disadvantage they need to be controlled.

I saw in today's paper that so far, 11 police forces have said that trans officers can carry more than 1 warrant card, depending on " their  favoured gender."

Women's Rights campaigners are up in arms about this as they do not want male officers using the female showers  (I agree),  and neither do they agree with a male police officer being allowed to strip search a woman.  (At the moment, the officer has to be of the same same as the offender for this).

The article also said  -  "It helped protect staff in the early stages of transition from having to 'Out' themselves when proving identity."

Erm  . . . . ey?   :hmm:

I didn't know about worms, Alex,  but  I used to keep dairy goats and most goat people knew that if you weren't careful,  you could get hermaphrodite kids through allowing certain matings.
Strange, isnt it.
