And the winner is............

Bradford.

I did drive through Bradford once but that may have been before it became worthy of such a prestigious award. In those days it was pretty grimy as I recall. So encouraging to hear of this

Oh, even grimier today.  Unfortunately, the mother-in-law still lives there so Marge is obliged to visit her on occasion.  So far, she has managed to make it back here safely.

Marge should be applauded for supporting a member of the ethnic minority

The mill owners brought in cheap labour, they brought their wider families, their children grew up and sought spouses from their home country, and now Bradford population is about 60% Asian, mainly Pakistani Muslim.

Anyone remember the film Rita, Sue and Bob too? That showed some of the less attractive areas.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Alex, are you joking In English schoolbooks in Germany they tell us that Braford is one of the problem towns where most of the Asian, Indian and Pakistanian migrants (people) live.

I don't understand why what is, in effect, a foreign town/city is named as a British centre of culture🤷🏻♂️.
