Why is he poking his nose into this country? What's he up to?

You never know your luck.

Elon, I assume you're watching and reading, as you're a tech guy.

I agree with everything you say.

Please arrange for £10million to enter my bank account.

I'd have asked you to buy a farm and put it in my name as a sound investment, but these commie pinko dictators we have running the shop have put that idea to bed.

I know nothing about Elon Musk other than he's the richest guy in the world.
I also think that he's a good friend of Nigel Farage and has offered to give him money to support his work.
I'm sure that everyone now knows that I am very much in favour of Reform UK forming our next government.

I suspect that all of that suggests exactly what his intentions are.  I agree with him completely.

Elon's Nan is a Scouser so I guess that gives him a connection to the UK and more importantly to the north of England !

Elon Musk by birth is South African / 'British' not Dutch, with established English roots. He emigrated to America and now holds US Citizenship concurrently. He met Nigel through The Donald and clearly wants to help the UK escape the Hell of Starmer and the messianic disaster that it's now locked into. As Kamala Harris proved over here, money doesn't guarantee electoral success. However with the right candidate (Farage) and the might of Musk's brains, software and capital etc behind him, anything's possible. An established 'network' of local Council seats can establish itself over the next 54 months until the next round. Bi elections will occur and perhaps double 'Reform's MP's in this time also? Local Branch Offices and the activists within them can quickly learn from over here, how to fight more effective campaigns going forward, utilising Musk's cutting edge technology in particular. The Dullards in Labour by then will have either crashed utterly or firmly established themselves as the most hated Administration in UK history - to pitch against.

I sincerely hope that this does come about by 2029, and I am sure that Elon Musk will help.  There is also the friendship between Farage and Trump which I am sure will be to our benefit.
Yes, Labour is already being seen as our worst ever government after only six months in power.  There is also talk of Starmer being replaced before long.  I wonder who would take his place.  Corbyn?  Abbott?

Kim Jon Un would be a more liberal choice.  As a further bonus, I suspect the UK would soon improve on its immigration problem.

Plus, our sewage issues would be solved, due to the new policy of flying it over to France in balloons.

If Elon Musk can help the Reform party that's got to be good news..
The sooner Starmer's lot are out the better..
As for the Conservatives they destroyed themselves.. Starting with arrogance of Boris..
I do hope Conservatives do not become our next government.. Many seem to think that there are only two parties.. WRONG..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

I'd argue that CaMoron was the first to start the rot and, for some reason, was awarded with a peerage.
Then there was Treason May who reduced the number of our police and replaced them with school leavers.

Well said Scrumps! We were just watching over here, the wonderful chastisement of Yvette Cooper by a lady in a shop who's offered a free mince pie by the miserable excuse for a woman that is the UK's present home secretary. Full of empathy Cooper can only offer up "but it's Xmas time" when the lady refuses and rebukes Cooper in detail for all her Party's hypocrises. "Wer'e closing immigrant hotels" says the Home Sec. (which is techically correct and would stand as such, under oath). In immediately, our heroine retorts. "On no your not, your opening loads more". Also correct, in a ratio of openings to every closure, of two to one in fact. Then she rejoins with "Pensioner Heating withdrawls, No Dr appts' etc. - you've lied about everything". Well done the honourable lady, who when Cooper offered her, "Well anyway, I wish you a Merry Xmas" said, "I wish you the opposite".

What I wish her could not be publised ...

A very interesting discussion. However, don't forget Musk is a "business man" always looking to make money irrespective of the consequences for the environment etc. He built a big factory in Eastern Germany in a region where water is a problem sometimes and his philosophy of life is "hire and fire", i.e. the job isn't secure and so far I haven't read anywhere that he is supporting initiatives for helping people in need. Are you sure that he will improve your standard of living? With all those crisis and wars in the world times are hard for everyone.

Let's put it this way... Musk can not make it any worse..

We have a government who welcomes ALL from ANYWHERE ..with open arms..
Provide warmth and food  and a bit of pocket money.
They take from our elderly.. YET
Send vast amounts of money to other countries to HELP the suffering..
They supply arms to those who are in conflict with another YET can not control the killings on our own streets..
Our hospitals are falling apart and treatment  offered when victims are passed being treated..

They empty our prisons... allowing criminals to re-offend..
They allow the plea  'I have mental problems'.. 'Someone spoke to me in my head' and 'I have found the lord'...

Their motto is  LESSONS HAVE BEEN LEARNED      We are a laughing stock..
And to top it all we MOCK Trump..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..
