Quote from: dextrous63 on November 14, 2024, 01:00:12 PMPlease could someone defend not having a death sentence in certain cases?
I am in favour of capital punishment for murder, and always have been.
I think it should also apply for torture of animals like this.
I'd gladly kill them myself, if I could get away with it.

Quote from: 1955vintage on November 14, 2024, 02:36:58 PMAs I have posted elsewhere, do you use two house bricks or a rusty blade?

Not sure whether two house bricks would have the desired affect on these two women?  :hmm:

Perhaps they could be part of an extended number of bricks...

Back in Tudor times, during the Reformation, some monks used to refuse to leave their monasteries.  So, all the exits were bricked up and they were left to starve to death.

There's a new 'migrant hotel' not a million miles away from us in Altrincham.
It has crossed my mind to, one fine night, go over and brick up all of its exits.

We used to have staff Christmas do's at that hotel many moons ago (1988-1990).

absolutely appalling -and the so called 'punishment' is utterly inadequate.
Thank you for the days, the days you gave me

Perhaps tar & feathering, and the stocks would seem an appropriate punishment for low life's like these two.  Might actually help them develop empathy skills.

Yes it is,  I agree with you Michael.

I really must apologise for sidetracking the direction of this discussion.

I'm worried now that what I posted yesterday might result in a visit from the Thought Police accusing me of a 'Non-Crime Hate Incident'.
The real drawback of such accusations is that the police apparently don't have to explain exactly what I am being accused of.
It occurs to me that I should not join in any discussions which could become dangerous for the discussers.
I can still join in the games though, I suppose!

Thank you, JBR.

This was a serious and upsetting thread to me, but sometimes it is hard to keep a thread on track.

You could always modify it, delete it or ask for it to be deleted. As the chance of it being found is very slim and the chance of anybody here reporting it I think you are probably safe. If not at least you'll be warm over the next winter or two.

Dex, I can't even look at those quick moving figures.  It's not good on my eyes.
