If they release the circa 13000 Muslims from prison, there'd be room enough to fill them with some white people.

Oh, good heavens!  You can foresee the future!
I'm sure Son of a Toolmaker has already thought about that.
You heard it here first.

Any colour other than white will do.

Two boys and three sets of hands. One of the boys would be made to tie the other up and his own ankles with the gun left several feet away while Farmer Giles tied that one's hands. Nobody with more than half a brain argues with a shotgun. Well not twice anyway.

It seems to me that everything was going pretty well until the daft bloke took the yobs to the police.
What a mistake-a to make!
The police of today are bound to side with the criminals against the person criminalised.

What he should have done is take the yobs, along with their transport suitably disabled, to a remote place and then untied one, then driven away and left the one to untie the other.
Two kids in a place miles from anywhere and their only transport unable to be used.

After several days walking, they could go to the police and complain about him.

"Prove it!"

I agree.  Seems the most likely way I guess.

I wouldn't be surprised if these lads were known to him, and he'd warned them before,  and that is why he flipped.

Personally, if I had the gear, I'd have buried their machine where it stood and left a spade for them to dig it out.

There's more than one way to teach a lesson.😉

If they were riding around his fields on electric bike they were hardly saints. It wouldn't be a boring street legal electric bike either. If it were it would be no fun riding it in a field and they could easily have got it over the gate.

He should have confined his revenge to the bike

How do you know is there some information on this ?

If you mean about tying them up I have no idea at all nor if any gun was used. All I was giving was an example of how a farmer might get two youths hog tied which the story says they were,

None at all on the bike either. Just supposition from the story. It says they were riding an electric bike and left it because the gate into the field was locked.

A street legal electric bike struggles on rough ground. I know that personally. Farm fields are unlikely to be anything but fairly rough compared to road surfaces which is what street legal electric bikes are designed for.

Most farm gates are usually less than 5 feet high. Two people should have little difficulty getting a street legal electric bike over one.

I imagine that the bike would be similar to this one otherwise why ride it in a field?

Luckily for us we didn't have that problem with kids BUT, we do get motor homes parking in front of the farms gates. Dunc gets really hacked off at them as he can't get the tractor into the fields, He's had quite a lot of rows with these people who refuse to use proper sites, as have all the other farmers and crofters in the area.
If they are parked up when I go out early to the pool, I nip back into the house and get a couple of slices of bread, tear it up nice and small, then chuck it up onto the roof of their van. As soon as it gets light and the gulls are awake they soon spot the bread, the campers then get a very loud wake up from the gulls as they have breakfast. The vans are nearly always gone when I get back from the pool.
Not very nice of me but it's better than a massive row with an angry farmer.
