Good morning Vlad.  Sleep well?

Scrumpy

I have seen stuff on the tv showing housewives how to greet their husbands home from work.. I guess it was around the forties/ fifties...
Always put on a fresh dress.. tidy your hair  and remove your apron..
Never complain about your day.. remember that your husband has probably been at his desk all day..
Always have a meal ready for him and the table laid..
Put out his slippers , his pipe... a newspaper...
Do not bother him with questions  about his day .. He needs to be peaceful..
Just sit quietly by him doing your knitting or needlework..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Thanks Vlad.  So far, so good.

In a (terrible) attempt to make this relevant to the thread, I'm swallowing food somewhat more like I used to in the good old days.

Talking of which...boil in the bag food.  Happy days.

Also, nesquick milkshake powder stuff.

Am sure they can still be bought.  But it's not the same.

Vlad

Ahhhh, Ken Hom chicken curry.....😱

Some of you may not believe me, but that is exactly what Marge does whenever I come in.  In fact, it is her general behaviour on most days when I have not been out at 'my desk'.

You are correct.  We don't believe you.

I had one today for my lunch as it happens.

We could have shared it if I'd known.

I fear that my new weight loss program excludes them. Even the virtually meat free cheap ones are full of grease and calories although some must be expended chewing the gristle in that type and may be a small offset.
