Well done Vlad..
Having 2 potential buyers offering 10k over is brilliant..
Let them settle it between them.. I reckon it will go a little over the 10k...
You have done well... It's misery when you have to lower the price because of no buyers..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Ty Scrumps maybe the estate agents were being cunning by pitching the asking price lower in order to encourage a bidding war? But I am pleased, there is one buyer who I have met who I really liked, a first time buyer with a family and the other bidder who is in a chain both came back with the high offers, I would really like to accept the lady's  bid even if it's slightly lower than the guy in a chain. It would speed up the whole process if that makes sense

That  makes sense to me too, Vlad,  But surely its up to you to choose,  not the agent,  isn't it?  They only want more commission.

If you turn her down for the higher offer, then the 'chain'  goes pear-shaped,  you might regret it.
Best of luck anyway,  whatever you decide.

Bloomin'  Daddy Long Legs season now.

Every night after dark, if I open the back door to let the dogs in the garden,  these damn things come fluttering in.
Anyone else getting them?

Vlad.. I would choose the easier one.. The first time buyer.. No chain..
Chains can easily break..
The estate agent doesn't care.. he just wants the one that gives him the highest commission..
Choose wisely.. It is your choice.. nobody else's..

I'm back.

I was trying to post a big Daddy-long-legs  picture,  but it didn't work.

I had my flu jab in Wednesday, my arm hurts tonight.  I've decided not to have the Covid vaccine, rotten side effects the last twice.   I have a B12 jab every 3 months, its the most painful injection I've ever had!
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Had my flu jab this morning. I don't usually get any significant after effects. Maybe a little sore but that's it and so far I've not noticed anything.

I don't know what others thought the covid jab would do when it first arrived but the old nurse who was handling the line made comments that clearly meant she was expecting it would stop people catching covid. I'm pretty sure I did. Anyway it soon became clear it didn't and they started talking about it stopping people spreading it. It didn't do that either then they came up with reducing severity. My own views is that apert from the proven adverse effects it had on some up to and including death it pretty much does sod all but they daren't admit to spending billions on something that was pretty much useless and indeed dangerous. I know at least one has been withdrawn and think the rest are still on temporary licence..

As anybody who bothered to read that can guess I didn't have that jab. I had three and still caught it twice. Both were mild apart from a bit of chest pain from the persistent annoying cough. Was it mild because I had the jabs? Well I'll never know for sure but I'm sceptical.

GrannyMac

I had Covid in the very early days before we had the vaccine.  My GP diagnosed it in hindsight, when a persistent chest infection wouldn't clear.  He gave me steroid inhalers and they worked.

I religiously got vaccinated after that, then I caught it again, but more mildly. Got over it, so I have my fingers crossed 🤞🏼 for future bouts.   I've had the pneumonia vaccine and RSV.

I had pneumonia and shingles. May have had RSV don't remember but I do have most that are offered and I think I either qualified last year or will this in the catchup.

The reason I recall the shingles and pneumonia is because I had them together and one - probably the shingles one as I think that is live virus actually made my arm hurt for a few days which is unusual for me.

Looked that up. The live virus one has been replaced now.

GrannyMac

The worst injection for me is the B12.  It's pretty painful nearly every time.

I agree with everything you said above about the early Covid vaccs,  Klondike.

As some people will probably be tired of hearing,  that first Astra Zeneca one did me a lot of harm,  and within about 36 hrs I was carted off in an ambulance and kept in overnight.
That kept on and on happening for a very long time afterwards,  (17 ambulances to be precise),   and I have never been right again since.
(Don't you dare twist that).

Three different hospital consultants,  plus two GP's have all since admitted they know of many patients who it made ill.

My personal belief is, it was all hushed up because the mad scientists didn't want to be made to pay compensation pay-outs.   It has always been said about the blood clots it caused it many patients too.

The Flu one I tried also made my arm swell so bad,  from elbow to shoulder,  I had to have antihistamines to try and bring the swelling down again.  It was also crimson red and very hot to touch.

All in all,  I would rather keep away from crowded places or social gatherings,  than have another vaccine.

Is that vitamin B12 grannnie? Blood test I suppose two years or si I was identified as having a slight b12 deficiency. Originally going to have a course of injections, then changed their mind and prescribed tablets. Tiny little things and I take one a day
Thank you for the days, the days you gave me
