Oooh.  Forgot.  New carpet, all slick and span and smelling fresh.

Enjoy😊

A busy day today.
After chasing the vets all morning to get Gertie's test results,  I had to dash off to Northampton for an MRI scan just after lunch.

I have complained so  much about nothing being done about one ear packing up, and the dizziness it causes,  that they have finally sent me for this head and ear scan today.
I don't like those tunnels we have to go in for MRI's,  and even worse is all the loud noises it makes.   Hurts my ears.

Never mind,  all done now, and just have to wait for the results.  Fingers crossed ey.

Touch wood.

I'm claustrophobic and have related intermittent nightmares.  If I had to go into a proper MRI tunnel, I think I'd have to be fully anaesthetised. 😳

Alex

It's not a very pleasant experience but if you close your eyes it's not too bad.

Dextrous63

I'm not sure I would cope!!!

Michael Rolls

I guess it depends. I'm not claustrophobic, so it didn't worry me when I had one a few years ago, although the noise was a bit off putting
Thank you for the days, the days you gave me

I'm with Mike, I found the noises the worst part.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

They terrify me, I had to have one when I was in hospital for the gall stones stuck in my byle duct some place. They had quite a job getting me into that machine, I'm highly claustrophobic no thanks to my sister, a tight hole in the bank, and herself being a nasty wee brat.
They have open scanners now, I think all hospitals should have to get them.
Save so much stress and relief for everyone needing to go through the procedure.

I hate them.. I get so worried about being closed in.. It would seem that many patients are..

Open scanners.. !! That sounds much better.. I suppose they are only used in a few hospitals..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Bugger too late. I thought better of it and was going to delete that.  :worried:

That's what I have to do too, Alex.
I didn't like that big plastic  'cage' thing they put over my face, but I could cope as long as I kept my eyes closed and didn't look at it.

It's all the loud, repetitive,  clangs and bangs I don't like.
