FFS does nobody ever read an announcements post?

Or maybe it's the goldfish thing and stuff gets forgotten in 3 minutes or two circuits to the fridge and back.

TLDR; Ignore any threads about inverters or solar power systems.

I made it through the night!  You must all be relieved.

However, I now have a cough which kept me awake and woke me up (if that makes sense) and which has led me to postpone tuitions today until later this week.

Scrumpy

Awww!!!  poor you.. You must be suffering greatly..
Get yourself comfy on the sofa.. Drink and remote control at hand..
I am sure your missus will make you some nice , easy to swallow, broth..

I had a cold and cough the other week.. Cough lasted a while ...
But being a mere female I just got on with it.. I didn't tell anyone..

Any other females on here suffered a nasty cold.?
Speak up now..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Dextrous63

You don't know the meaning of a nasty cold.  You, nor any of your femal friends have ever had one.

As per usual, it's up to us men to carry the true burden of a life threatening sniffle.

Aha!!  Further to my earlier post,  after being informed by Mrs Dex about yesterday being World Appreciate Your Wife Day, I thought I'd better check that it does actually exist since, like many of you I'd imagine, you've never heard of it and there was always a possibility of her making the whole thing up while I lay on my deathbed, just to add a tad more to my Catholic guilt.

I discovered that it does.

Now then, not that revenge should ever be served straight from the fridge, I naturally checked up on its partner in crime, fellas (and those who identify...etc etc).  Here's one for your diary....

How will your victims students ever cope?

Dextrous63

I messaged them this morning, which should give them time to arrange counselling at their schools/colleges.

Aha.  I have temporarily ceased my search for unvetted adult sites for me to forward details onto Ofcom about (well, perhaps in a week or two😬) and instead found this..

?

I shall try it out later, once I've given up trying to have a nap.

I have felt a bit poorly for a day or two,  so off to bed in a mo.

Must be up early as they are finally coming to take my motor away for mending in the morning.

(And the neighbour's  old clamped wreck is STILL  parked on the road)!

Morning all.

My heating actually came on for a short while this morning, so must have been chilly.
Which reminds me,  once I've paid the car insurance,  there will be the boiler service to pay for,  just before the house insurance is due!!

Just waiting for them to come and collect my motor for repair.  Hope I can drive the loan car alright.

P.S.  he has just phoned me and said he will be with me about 10.15.

Scrumpy

Mups.. You will be fine with the loan car.. don't panic..
Just don't try any reverse parking..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Years ago I had an automatic for a couple of years and switched back to manual with no problem.

Then I had another auto and the loan car (that turned out to be a paid for loan car which somehow slipped the salesman's mind) when I had it serviced there because I'd bought a service agreement turned out to be a six speed manual. I got fed up with forgetting which gear it was in and as I was only going a few miles I just stuck the bloody thing in third and didn't bother changing. When I parked up it moaned at me for driving inefficiently.

Dextrous63

I'd just love it if they turned up, took the wheel clamp and stickers off the rustbucket over your road Mups, handed you the keys and said that that's your courtesy car.  🤣🤣🤣🤣
