Morning, We are back to rain and wind, just what I need. 😕 There's a Surfing competition on today over at the Reef, we were going to wander over for a while but now it will depend on the weather clearing up. I bought diced steak n onions earlier and a pack of button mushrooms, going to do it in the slow cooker and serve with boiled rice for dinner tonight.

I love watching surfing...
It brings back memories of sitting on a (small) hill overlooking the sea on the Gold Coast watching the surfers.. Some clever stuff...

I am on my second day of having a cold (first for nigh on a decade) and being a man I am of course laughing in the face of it whilst taking as many known cures for it as can be delivered by Amazon with much speed, and rewriting my will in case I don't make it out alive.
Mrs Dex intends to make Beef Stroganoff for my last supper today.

In case I'm in the morgue tomorrow, I'll just mention now that it's been a pleasure knowing you all....
Whoa am I. The hurly burly is nearly done...

Raven

Man Up Dexie, it's just a sniffle you'll be fine.  :nooo:

Sounds like man flu mate, take to your bed...I had it once it was only the intervention of a Priest giving me last rites that saved me

What a good idea.
Marge has had a similar infection for a few days now since we came home, but fortunately it hasn't chosen to attack me yet.  I suppose I must put that down to my strong, manly constitution which frightens off those sort of bugs.
I have suggested to Marge that she should make an effort to go to church and ask the Good Lord to intervene.  Unfortunately, I suspect that he has turned his back on us now, since we have turned our backs on him.

I don't need the clap as well.

Forgive me father, for I have sinned.  Well, so I've been told, even though I don't actually agree with that appraisal.

Some form of advertising, perhaps?  Maybe to help fund the forum?

I'm sorry to say that I really have no need for an inverter.

Not many people do.  But if it keeps him happy, ....

Meanwhile, as today is apparently World Appreciate your Wife Day, I trust that all the menfolk on here and indeed anyone else who has a wife (once again showing my inclusive woke side, which may have been enhanced through overdosing on Strepsils) have exclaimed their appreciation as often as possible.

I did whilst she was alive, and still do
