A few months ago, Kirk said: "It's worth it to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the *Second Amendment".
He spread anti-transgender views and skepticism over the Covid-19 pandemic, and also publicly promoted the false claim that the 2020 election was stolen from Trump.

*The Second Amendment is a part of the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights that protects the right of people to keep and bear arms, and it was ratified on December 15, 1791.
