That always seems to happen when some once in a lifetime astronomical phenomenon is announced. I have seen some and have always been disappointed. To see anything worthwhile you have to get miles away from any city. With the slightest amount of haze in the air city lights reflected from it wipe out any chance of being awed.

I was walking and got the alert sound in my headphones. That was all. Hours later I noticed some sort of message about it probably text I forget as I just delete it. Good job it wasn't saying there was in incoming nuke and I'd got 10 minutes to bend through my legs to kiss my backside goodbye or any other useful message from our wonderful government.

I CBA arsed to turn it off. I missed the previous one entirely. If they get annoying I will turn them off once I've googled where in the settings I can.

Exactly, If I want to get, a really good view of The Aurora and watch them dance, I have to drive to the beach, face east with my back towards Thurso, it's pitch black then and the sight is glorious. When I'm down in Perth it's not nearly so strong as up here, I have to drive several miles over to Kinoull Hill to get a half decent sighting.

A pleasant but  breezy morning so far.   
I have washed all the dogs bedding so that's having a nice blow.

My mouth is nearly better after the dentistry last week,  just one slightly sore spot still,  where he injected into the bottom of my cheek.   I didn't know he would do that, I thought he was just going to inject my gums.  
I've got just 3 Penicillan capsules left to take.  At least I can eat easier again now, so that's good.

Just going to make another cuppa.   Anyone else want one?    :smiley:

Why is that a coincidence anyway?

I still have this ongoing problem with my hearing, and it can affect my balance.  I have kicked up a bit now though,  as I am sick at the lack of diagnose after so long.   
Got another appointment at lunchtime today actually.

I walked. I'll join you in a swift one but circumstances dictate we must wait until somebody with the wherewithal pases by. Pity Dex's tab is being investigated by the IMF. In my case it was a mishap with wallet trousers and the washing machine. I'm on bail accused of Money laundering a block has been placed on all my means of payment.
