Scrumpy

I only went in the garden to check on wasps..

I ended up clearing out some wood panels that a worker had left behind my shed..
They were far too large to take to the tip..
I waited 5years ... the wood is now rotten.. I dragged them out with little effort and broke them up..
A lot of the wood I disposed of by breaking it up and putting it on my wood chippings in the front garden...
I am well happy..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Oddly enough, I've just had an Evri one, too. Free for 5, once I caught a fish alive...

Anyway, I honestly thought they didn't do Sundays.  Silly old me.

I don't think I've had one on a Sunday before.

Thank god for immigrants, if it's any of them that are doing a bit of couriering on the side.

We could do with more of them.

In fact, we could get the canal system up and running again and use some of these chaps to man the dinghies and thus arrange for relatively environmentally friendly transportation of certain goods.

Well done Scrumpy.

Have the wasps gone yet?

Scrumpy

The wasps are no more......
But... I'm not going to open the shed they were nesting in... not just yet..
They are crafty little buggers... they might be hiding behind the door..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Soak some cotton wool pads in Peppermint oil Scrumps and chuck 'em in the shed, that'll sort the buggers out.

I took both dogs to the vets this morning for Gertie's stitches out on her front paw, and Liffey's stitches on her ribs.    Pesky warts removed, mainly because Gertie kept chewing hers and trying to pull it off her paw!

Stopped at the cash machine inside Tesco's on the way home,  and have now caught up with my paperwork at last.

Just going to pot on a couple of young plants while the mood takes me.

Or to really sort em out soak pillows in petrol and chuck in along with a lighted match.  :upvote::grin:

Just had another. They combined two orders.

They must be getting a lot of work with weekend and evening deliveries.

Wait till December and the Christmas orders start. It's crazy time then.

Just having a cup of tea and a biscuit.
I suppose I ought to get dressed really.

I help out on Tuesdays at a local venue where a friend does benefits checks for pensioners. It's voluntary for Age UK, a drop in.  I make coffee and hand out leaflets, or just chat if they're waiting to see her.  Best get going soon.  It's raining here, got to find my umbrella ☔️ first.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖
