We had our youngest granddaughter here for lunch, then she and I went to get her some bits for school. Couldn't find anything she liked so she's going to order online. She got some sweets and a tenner, went home happy.

It made me laugh when around here, the day after the schools had packed up for summer, there were signs in some shops saying . . "Back to School."
