The question asked -

Guess the next three letters in the series GTNTL  . . .  and the answer is  ITS.
The reason is because it uses the first letter of each word in the sentence.

Very clever... I couldn't solve it.. My brain goes into overdrive..

All the best to your friend for her op...

Yes, I've always said the same.

We nuture all our plants,  but the weeds get pulled up,  or sprayed, or dug up, and yet they still flourish through winters, scorching summers, and droughts!

Just watered the garden.. My shrubs/lavender are newly planted so they need to be looked after..
My grass is brown and all dried up... Not too worried about that.. grass recovers well from lack of water..

Anglian Water may be running a trial or it may be their whole region but they've introduced an odd system where you pay more in the summer period than you do for the rest of the year. I think it's May through August. There was a leaflet but I didn't read it in any detail. if you need water you use it regardless.

Yes,   the buggers will put it up in the summer  because they make more money out of us then. They know darn well we are likely to use more in this hot weather,  so put the prices up quick.

It's like the gas/electric people do the same,  only  they put theirs up every winter,  just when they know we will be needing  most fuel.

I suppose you are AWA too aren't you,  same as me.  Was it April they increased it all?

klondike

I think it was May.

April showers cuts demand....
