Did anyone have a go at today's puzzle?   It got a bit lost on the other page.

Q.   Guess the next three letters in the series GTNTL

I looked, realised that it is an obvious acronym and decided to leave it to others.

Mostly because although it is an obvious acronym I couldn't quite work out which one

Actually looking at it again now I can.

Greenhouse work today, I stupidly ordered plug plants instead of bedding plants  :yell:  Now I have to pot on every single one of them in a bigger pot for about 6 weeks before they can go out into the tubs. There's around 50 of the blooming things, I'm so annoyed at myself.....ggggrrrrr

Well I must admit that I wouldn't have known the answer,  but once you do know it, it's obvious.

The question asked -

Guess the next three letters in the series GTNTL  . . .   and the answer is  ITS.
The reason is because it uses the first letter of each word in the sentence.

An easy one for you today:

A farmer has 17 sheep and all but nine die. How many are left?

Good morning all,  on what looks like another hot day coming.

Going to see a friend of mine later this morning to wish her luck.  She is going into hospital tomorrow for both hips to be operated on, poor old gal.
The medics have left her and left her until she can't walk at all anymore,  not even around the house.    Luckily she's got a good husband who does everything, and looks after her.

Have a good day folks.

Dreadful. Hope she recovers well.
