It was done to pull the legs of those next door 

That was a bank between the site and the beach made up mostly of sand and mixed size stones. Just about anything you planted perished. Daffs were OK but mostly over by the time the site reopened. Mostly it was whatever wild stuff managed to self set and that varied from year to year. Anything attractive had to be protected from the rabbits.

In the park at 7:30.. It was beautiful.. It was like having my own BIG garden.. 
A couple of runners.. dog walkers.. a man practicing his skate boarding and a dad with a pushchair..
