Mups

I am really tired of this unrelenting heat now,  so are my poor dogs.
We all had a dreadful night trying to sleep,  and I've got to drive into Bedford this afternoon to visit my Chiropractor.

I got the MRI results for my lower spine,  and its not good.
It's all in doctors jargon,  but the gist of it is that I've got spondylosis, joint degeneratoin, and a trapped nerve root - hence the feeling of electric shocks shooting down my right leg.
In other words, it looks like my lower back is knackered.  :worried:

Aww Mups  :hugs: at least you now know what's what and it gives them scope to know where to work on you.

Aww!! Mups.. Poor you..
I do understand .. I'm not comparing my pain to yours.. please don't think that..
I have had a trapped nerve in my back for years.. and I have Sciatica.. Bloody painful..
My back pain seems worse in the warmer weather.. could be wrong..
Perhaps there will be some medication that will help you..
I do hope so...
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

I looked that up. IMO it's probably going to be the trapped nerve that causes the biggest problem. The other stuff is par for the course past middle age and especially in women. A chiropractor showed me my X-Ray with those bony spurs that were mentioned in what I read when I was in my 50s. I imagine I still have them but not the horrible back pain that was why I went to see one.

The good news is that trapped nerves can sometimes fix themselves. I had something quite recently that was causing pretty intense short term pain in one leg. By the time I got the physio appointment it had pretty much sorted itself but he did at least give me the right name for what I'd had.

Keep your fingers crossed...
Hope either they fix it or it just gets better anyway.
