The Papers are reporting that Covid Infections are on the rise again in the UK. I also noticed more people are wearing masks again. I was actually planning to wear mine again when I'm in Tesco ect this Winter.
How about you? Are you going to take precautions over the Winter?

BBC News - Covid infections rise by 14% in UK and now top a million

Yes I think I'll wear a mask in the supermarkets again over winter. I rarely use the bus, but that would be another place to use one.

50 people are being treated for Covid in our local hospital.  The report doesn't say how many of them had been vaccinated.

Raven

I suppose this will turn out to be yet another new strain of the virus.

Scrumpy

I will not be wearing my mask.. It is up to others whether or not they get boosters..
 It is their choice...
Would be interesting to know how many of those occupying  hospital beds have not had their jabs..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Most of the studies show that I've seen reported show that you are more likely to catch covid if vaccinated and no less likely to land in hospital. It should surely be clear to anybody that the vaccines simply do not work. They are now known not to stop infection nor do they stop those infected from being infectious - the last bastion was that they reduced severity and it seems now that they don't do that either.

Masks? Not for me.

Sheila

That wasn't my experience klondike.  I had received numerous letters telling me what to pack in my hospital bag and Paul was told that he wasn't allowed out either!  I have asthma, bronchiectasis and a non-contagious form of TB.

We caught covid (after 3 vaccinations) but it wasn't very severe and I think this was because of the vaccinations.  At the start of covid my GP gave me a two week supply of doxycycline but I didn't need to take them.

That does seem to be the science but I would advise anyone to do their own research. None of the measures taken have made any difference and the novel injections were designed for something that faded out over a year ago. The choice is yours, and God help you.

Yes I've seen suggestions that the Omicron "variant" is so genetically different from the original Sars-Cov2 that this started out with that it should be regarded as a different virus entirely.

Anyhow for better or worse I've made my choice.

Had a call from my SIL earlier today, my daughter now has Covid.  [1060]
I suppose she picked that up on holiday in Spain last week.

My daughter and both grandchildren have had covid over the last couple of months. All have had their jabs.. Martha , my granddaughter, has bouts of asthma .. I believe they would have been in a worse state had they not..

Regan has had all her jags too. She had no option as she works in the Doctors Surgery. She was due to go for her next one and flu one next week, will have to cancel.

That's what a Lincolnshire GP said about the MMR vaccine, that it wasn't effective & could cause serious side effects, & he was hounded out of the medical profession.

The MMR vaccine was tested for years and has a full licence rather than tested for a few months and only released on an emergency license.

The UK has stopped using the AstraZenica vaccine as have many others  https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2021/3/15/which-countries-have-halted-use-of-astrazenecas-covid-vaccine

What you do is up to you.

'What you do is up to you.'
Of course it is..

Deaths and hospital admission has decreased since jabs have been introduced.. So I guess something is working..
