I found a bolt in something or other from Tesco and got a nice voucher. A while later I had some ready meal or other from them and there were some maggots in the rice. I was going to send that to them but my wife insisted it should be reported to some public health part of the council which was done. Never heard a thing and not even a refund let alone a nice chunky voucher.

Mental note: avoid Tesco.  Thanks for the warning.  I have heard things about Tesco before.

Maggots in the rice?  I assume dead.

Yes they were dead. I can't recall exactly what type of meal it was other than there was a serving of rice as part of it. They were quite small about the same size as the grains of rice. Luckily I'm a customer of Specsavers.
