I had a 3pm hospital appointment yesterday.. Just a quick one..
Sun shinning.. 
I saw someone at ENT.. lovely women.. sent me for a blood test.. very quick..
And then it all changed.. 
I was given a prescription to take to Boots situated in the hospital.. The screen told us that the waiting time was ONE hour.. WRONG.. We waited one hour and fifty mins..
There were many people waiting..
The prescription could NOT be taken to an outside chemist.. What a stupid rule.. Surely allowing a hospital prescription to be taken elsewhere would free up the people waiting.. and the staff preparing prescriptions..
It was getting dark when we left and poring with rain.. Everything had changed..
And it cost us nine pounds for parking..

I was given nasal drops.. to be used twice a day .. for 4 weeks.. It is only a small container and certainly will not last four weeks.. Who provides me with another prescription ? Does anyone here know?

Sounds like a right old shambles, Scrumps.
And are you sure you have to get the prescription done only at the hospital?  I've never heard that one before, and that is absolutely ridiculous.

Yes... very sure..
It states on the prescription that it can only be filled at the hospital.... The queue and waiting time was horrendous..
I was with my daughter Marnie.. The one..out of the two of us who has the brains..

I've had the same. Went to the pharmacy and the apparently solitary pharmacist had just gone for lunch. It turned out it wasn't a POM medicine so I bought it. £9 which is less than the charge for a prescription item if paying.
