... what's going on here!!

A customer in Sainsbury's was at the self-checkout.. He put his hand up to attract an assistant because he had alcohol in his basket.. He was then approached by two staff members who escorted him from the store..
He was told that Live Facial Recognition had picked him up as a shoplifter they had dealings with earlier in the week..
He tried to explain to them that this was NOT him.. His protests fell on deaf ears..
The LFR camera at the main entrance had picked out his face as that of the man who had been caught shoplifting..
 A few days later he had an apology from Sainsbury's..
When the man was spoken to by the press he said..
  'Terrifying  glimpse of the future'..
I hope Sainsbury's gave him some 'Free' alcohol.. I bet not..

I believe it to be a little blue light at the main entrance.. I am sure most stores have them..
I am sure I have seen one at Morrison's..
