Potholes & Highway Budgets

Our local council have decided to renew the contract with the same firm who have been mending potholes.
They are keeping them on until, at least 2030.

They are said to have realised that to bring this county's roads up to a decent standard (huh  :rolleyes: ),  would cost close to  £380m.    This year's highway budget is  £18m!!

It doesn't take much working out to see things aren't going to improve over the next year, does it.

Is it much the same where you live, too?
