Keep getting error messages when I try to log in too..

It seems very quiet on the street .. and in the shops..
I guess it is the heat..

I just took a while to log in as Mark. There are errors in the log I've never seen before. I think one of our unwelcome visitors may have screwed something up. I'll restart Apache to see if that clears this up.

Server was using a lot of cpu even after apache restart.
I could just have checked my sig as that shows the server load.

I have rebooted the server and it looks more sensible now. Response times seem better too. Not sure what caused it but the odds are it was a hacking attempt. I should really be updating the server software but that's a PITA and I've been putting it off.

Mobile always varies so isn't reliable to judge the server.

I've had something similar over the last few days too.
It's been taking ages to log in, too.

Hopefully the problem won't return. I think my responses were maybe a bit slower but the main issue seemed to be with logging in.

One other little thing that struck me as odd, Klondike, is you know at the bottom of the home page where it says 'Most online today', well it always used to be anywhere between 70 - 90, but very recently it has suddenly shot up to 425!
What do you make of that?

Server load in my sig is from the uptime command it's % load over 3 time periods and is peanuts
