Big increase in pension!

For all you younger pensioners, you'll be pleased to know that the extra payment for reaching 80 is still being paid.  I got my letter last week, i'm so excited. A whole 25p a week more. What a joke, especially as we pre 2016 pensioners get about £50 a week less basic pension than younger retirees. Time they got rid IMO.

I've always felt that Politicians,  especially the PM's,  should be made to live in our shoes for 6 months before they get the job.
Take away their chauffeur driven cars,  refuse their expense sheets covering free meals, petrol, free holidays and  'entertaining',  and make them live on a state pension only.

THEN, and only then,  would they understand what the real world is like and it may even help them make sensible decisions!   If they have no experience of our world,  how on earth can they pretend to know whats best for us!
