My neighbour Alec is an arable farmer and like all such is worried at the effect of the Iran war on the price of fuel and fertilisers. It already costs £500 to fill a tractor tank, and this is with red diesel which is cheaper than normal pump diesel.

The knock on effect is often hidden, until prices rise again. Farmers have had a rough time under this lot in government. 

I was pleased my son had bought a load of oil a few weeks ago, their village has no mains gas and they rely on oil to heat their house.

There is talk of the Yanks sending in ground troops. If they do expect it to get worse. They have a very poor record in this sort of thing. Think Vietnam or Afghanistan. That one is the main reason we are getting the dinghy boys years after it ended.in their defeat.

He was adopted and supported by the MAGA wing of the Republican party which is essentially isolationist. Of course the other choice was Cackling Kamala, You'd think the most powerful nation on earth could come up with better leaders.

Mind you we're in no real position to criticise but at least our lot only make us poorer not the entire world and aren't really in a position to start a nuclear war. I saw a suggestion that Rocket Boy is selling Iran ICBMs. If he flogged them nuke warheads to go with them it certainly won't be a good day out.

Most of those dingy illegals come from Africa .
I don't think America has been the cause of any Africans illegal  coming to the U.K. 
AFAIK none came from Vietnam which is a pity in a way as the Vietnamese are hard working intelligent people who seem to do very well in their adopted countries .
I expect there are some from Afghanistan which we could well do without .
