There was a bit on the telly yesterday about  the Bin men dumping our dustbins all over the place after they have emptied them and the lorry moves on.

They were showing a blind man with his guide dog trying to anticipate where the bins were and manouvre
round them.  It was very difficult for both the man, and his dog as bins were blocking the pavements all along his road.

Also sometimes people on mobility scooters find it difficult to get round them,  especially on narrower pavements, and cars parked half on the pavements too.

Personally it sometimes gets on my wick too,  especially when they leave my bins several houses away.
I don't see why it would take them any longer to just leave it where they found it.  They shouldn't be allowed to block pathways and pavements.

What's it like on bin day where you live?

Often fairly close sometimes a couple of doors away. It's because the lorry moves down the road. They don't always get put on or taken off right outside your gate.

Always very untidy returns. They just get a shove in from the edge of the path.
