With no nearby charity shops since covid as I live on a busy thoroughfare I sometimes put items too good to bin on the wall should anybody passing have a use for them.

Mostly so far it has been garden stuff but I found two sets of wheel trims in the cellar I'll never want so I put them on the wall. One set went quickly - they were branded ones and can be expensive so may have been taken to car boot the others were generic ones and not worth much. I was going to put them in the Friday bin if they weren't taken.

This passing moron must have thought they'd make nice pavement decorations because that's where I found them when I went out a while after this incident.

Would you put this on your local NextDoor or would it just be encouraging more vandalism?
