Although very rare it is known for a person to change their Accent or Language completely after having a stroke or head injury..

If I could have an accent I wouldn't like one that was  too northern because I would have trouble understanding myself..
I wouldn't mind a soft Irish lilt.. 
I think I would go for a French accent.. They certainly sound sexy..

I think the tone of voice is what I notice, too.
A loud, or piercing voice would soon get on my wick whether it had an accent or not.

I've never noticed my accent. I have had people I've met know where I come from. Must be the only place in the country with no accent is all I can assume.

Yes.. you do have an accent.. But I could understand what you were saying..
I guess we all have accents..
I am sure there are those who wouldn't understand mine..
