My friend Shaun today told me that he was all dressed up ready to go out for a family meal ..
He waited and waited..
He then phoned his daughter asking where she was .. and she was very late picking him up..
He was surprised when she told him that tomorrow is Sunday.. And that was the date planned..
He thought today was Sunday..

Something funny..
I trimmed my fringe .. just to tidy it up for Christmas.. It didn't look right , so back to the mirror I went.. scissors in hand.. Shouldn't have done that..
It looked like my Mum had been at it.. When I was a kid..
I'm sure her scissors were blunt .. She used to say..
'That'll do'.. 😃 😃

Plonked a beanie hat on when I went to the Co-op.
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

I assume your pudding basins are full of puddings.

I often have to look at my phone to find out what day and date
it is. My smartphone outsmarts me by a country mile.

You're not alone.    I suspect many of us have been in a muddle with what day it is over the Christmas.   I suppose its because our usual routines changed,  different programmes on telly, some business's open and some closed,  even some pensions paid in on unusual days, etc.
Back to more normal routines tomorrow I hope.

I can assure you that today is Monday 5th January, and a nice, fresh, cool, snowy day.

That's the trouble with being a pensioner, you never get a day off.

Well, OK, it's 5th January now, anyway.  It's just that I'm a forward looking sort of person.

I hate it when my calendar runs slow.

So who can put their hand on their heart and declare that that post Christmas they can say that they are 100% on top of knowing what day it is?
