David Lammy has refused to meet with the lawyers  and families of the Palestinian Action hunger strikers .
I don't like David Lammy but in this he is right .
To give in to this blackmail will set a precedent that every prisoner who doesn't like prison can replicate.

One thing I was unaware of is that they were arrested prior to PA being proscribed as a terrorist group.

No doubt their actions actually helped PA to be classified.

So young, and so willing to ruin their own lives.  Failure of imagination.

Unfortunately one can live a fair while without food.. 
Lack of fluids will kill quicker..

Something tells me that they are still drinking..  Cowards..

The are doing rotational hunger strike ie some eat on some days so that they don't starve too much too quickly .

That shows just how determined they are!  They're hoping for some softies to publicly support them.
I hope they don't.  I also hope that they keep up their intention, as it would save the rest of us some money to keep them longer and, for that matter, to pay for their food!

Hopefully the saving on food is small but I doubt that. They probably eat a lot better than many pensioners despite the restoration of the stolen winter fuel allowance and our generous £10 Christmas bonus.
