Bit sparse this year - as I said in the boring thread the annoying tinkly balls and and banner seems to have blown a fuse - it hasn't been updated to run on the current forum release. Anyway I've been busy tracking down some candid shots of Vlad up to no good at the Jockey's Nostril. I didn't think the old dog still had it in him.

The Holly is good.   At least a bit of Holly is better than nowt,  Klondie.   :upvote:

Don't forget some Mistletoe  for New Years Eve though.

I may ask the bloke who dug up those candid snaps of Vlad with his errrm.. friends if he can come up with something but he seemed to have a hangover when I asked him about the Christmas one this morning and just came up with unusable junk so maybe I'll have to have a go myself - unless you fancy celebrating 2023 again.

I think we all ought to meet up together at the Jockey's Nostril for either Christmas Eve drinks together,  or  a New Year's Eve party.

Charlie the Charabanc owner owes me a favour,  so if I ask him nicely, we could all get picked up so we don't have to drive.
Anyone fancy it?    I can book us in with Vlad's head barmaid.

reminds me of the tale of Christmas long past. SC and the elves were slaving away because the weather had been milder then usual. There was a knock at the door, and, seething with frustration, SC answered it to find a fairy there with a Christmas tree. Treating SC to a beaming smile she said 'were would you like me to stick this, Santa?' And that was the start of the fairy in the top of the tree
Thank you for the days, the days you gave me
