This boy loved his Mum too, and gave me plenty of xxx's !
Sadly he is long gone now -  along with my slim figure!

Getting back to Scrumpy's thread  . . .  I can't abide cruelty to animals in any form.
As we have all been saying,  that boy in the first link should have been taught a lesson.

Again, its an old picture,  but this was Penny, my rescue Sheep, (she used to come out in the van with me and the dogs  ),  and Shep, my rescue dog.  I saved him from being shot!!
It was a while before Shep trusted me because he was used to being kicked about and hit,  but eventually he felt safe with me,  and turned out a brilliant dog.  He slept by my bedside for the next 14 years, bless him.

OK.    I'll pipe down on the subject now.

. . . Oi,    and you can stop winding him up, too.    :nooo:
(Just when he was doing alright an' all).

Lovely picture. When we settled down to sleep I would say 'good night, little ones, with Veronica already asleep and Fleur on the pillow between us. Those were the days, or rather nights
