I get notifications on changes to the HMO planning application for the house next door to me. All neighbour responses to now have been in opposition apart from  this one. They even uploaded as an attachment the local agency report they refer to which was already there from the agency.

In line with the Far Cotton & Delapre Housing Needs Assessment (HNA)I feel this plan will
add value to the area as there is much need of affordable accommodation in the are
supporting vital local workers in the NHS and Care and Education sectors who can live to
their work and support the local community.

What a load of old fanny. The local uni has cut back on African students this year presumably following the large number of complaints they generated. Two houses full of them nearby were apparently damned nuisances with regular noisy all night parties. One house the landlord hasn't taken any students and the other is almost empty. I image the drop in student numbers has left plenty of HMO vacancies. It's not as if everybody is fighting to live in a cramped shithole.
