Beware - Yet another nuisance call

It happened this morning.   
Landline rang,  and I was in a bit of a hurry so didn't look at the caller's number like I normally do.

An English  woman's voice started talking so quickly,  and  suddenly asked if I was the person responsible for the energy bills.    
She annoyed me,  partly for her awful gabbling speech,  but also,  I don't know her from Adam, so what right has she to question me about my life in her first sentence!

I  remembered not to say 'Yes'  to her as this alone can get us into trouble,  so I told her I didn't have time to speak to her,  and hung up, then blocked the number
.
After checking her number on the 'Who Called Me'  website,  it showed loads of people had received this same call, from the same number,  and it was a scammer.   So this another one that seems to be doing the rounds now.

Beware.   The number showing was -  01987 555803  Somewhere in Kent,  (but I doubt that was true).

Just marketing probably. I had someone call the other day who said they were calling from Three although I did have to ask them for a repeat. I just said I have no Three account and hung up.

I don't normally pick up for anybody not in my address book but I am expecting a callback that it seems now probably wont come.
