Our four month old puppy is sitting calmly on my wife's lap ignoring everything outside.
The problem with being retired is that you never get a day off

Varies a lot from dog to dog. Some can be terrified.one of our yorkies was. She even tried to hide in a kitchen cabinet once. In later years she went deaf so bonfire night was no longer a problem.

There were quite a few here on Saturday and even some Sunday which was something that never used to happen. I don't recall any Monday and Tuesday but they are popping off all the time tonight. I've not noticed any monster ones so far but that only means nobody really close to me as I haven't looked outside and seen any.

Amazingly it's 2030 here and almost silent. It was like WW1 around Diwali, I can only assume that fireworks are so expensive that English people consider them unnecessary. I think there are public displays at the weekend for the keen.

Mups

There were a few tonight,  but not that many.
It's this Saturday I am not looking forward to as there is always a huge public display which is  just a few hundred yards away from me.
It is very popular each year,  with loads of people always attending.
